Gnosis builds open applications and infrastructure for the new economy. We’re seeking a Product Designer (mid-level) to join the Metri team: a self-custodial wallet that makes on-chain finance seamless, private, and secure. Metri integrates with Gnosis Pay, the world’s first self-custodial Visa Debit Card, enabling users to spend digital assets effortlessly. It also connects with Circles, a decentralised, trust-based currency system designed for fair and inclusive money creation.
As a Product Designer, you’ll design intuitive, privacy-focused financial products, shape user experiences across web and mobile, and contribute to Metri’s evolving design system. You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to refine the intersection of DeFi, payments, and self-custody, making open finance more accessible.
Metri is still in its early stages, making this a unique opportunity to shape the product from the ground up and have a lasting impact.
Profile and Requirements
Skilled & Experienced: Strong foundation in product design with a portfolio showcasing process and impact across web and mobile.
Detail-Oriented & Craft-Driven: High standards for UX, UI, motion, and interaction design.
User-Centred & Data-Informed: Design decisions backed by research, analytics, and strategic thinking.
Systematic & Scalable: Expertise in design systems, Figma, accessibility, and mobile-first principles.
Blockchain-Aware: Understanding of key Web3 concepts like smart contracts, decentralised protocols, trustless transaction and on-chain governance.
Collaborative & Communicative: Works well with other designers, engineers, and PMs; open to feedback and iteration.
Independent & Team-Oriented: Takes ownership while contributing to a strong team culture
Bonus points
Experience or interest in motion design with tools like Rive, Lottie, or Jitter.
Experience or interest in 3D design using Spline or Blender.
Experience using Framer.
Familiarity with branding and identity systems.
