About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive LATAM Financial Operations Lead to manage the financial operations of our rapidly growing LATAM region. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for financial processes across LATAM countries, ensuring accurate and timely collection of vendor invoices and maintaining smooth month-end operations.

Responsibilities:
- LATAM Vendor Management: Act as the main liaison for all LATAM vendors, fostering strong relationships with both new and existing vendors to ensure timely submission of invoices for services rendered each month.
- Regional Invoice Coordination: Ensure all invoices from vendors across LATAM countries are collected and accurately recorded in a timely manner to support month-end close.
- PO and invoice tracking: act as the primary liaison between the LatAm Market Operations and cross-functional teams to provide clear visibility into the approval status of POs and invoices, ensuring they progress smoothly and adhere to expected timelines.
- Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger for LATAM countries.
- Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts monthly across multiple LATAM countries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, providing insights into LATAM financial performance.
- Audits and Compliance: Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with local regulations in LATAM countries.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to the company's financial strategy in LATAM. Identify opportunities to improve cash management, such as optimizing vendor payment timelines.
- Analysis and Recommendations: Monitor financial data across LATAM countries to identify trends, improve processes, and support decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial operations adhere to the applicable financial regulations and laws in LATAM countries.
- Support Growth and Market Operations: Provide financial insights to support the company’s rapid growth across LATAM, including consulting with regional and local advisory firms on financial, accounting, and tax items
- Perform other duties as needed to support the Finance team and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Big Four Accounting Firm experience required.
- 4+ years of accounting and reporting experience, preferably in a technology startup or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Normas Contables Profesionales Argentinas (Argentine Professional Accounting Standards) and familiarity with LATAM financial and accounting regulations.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP S/4 Hana, QuickBooks) and Google Suite (gsheets & gslides)
- Contador Público Nacional (CPN) preferred.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and financial processes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in fostering vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Native in Spanish and proficiency in English.
- Comfortable working in a high paced environment, with strong orientation towards meeting goals and deadlines.
