We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented Accounting Analyst based in Buenos Aires. Reporting to and working directly with the LatAm Controller, this person will be collaborating with the Global accounting team on tasks like monthly closing, invoicing, payables, account analysis and general accounting support. This role will be a jack of all trades and the person must be willing to flex their role to get the job done and deliver across all areas of finance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Perform financial & accounting data entry, including recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Month end close accounting activities.
- Support the preparation of regulatory filings and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Complete monthly local Argentina Tax requirements.
- Assist in monitoring and managing financial transactions, ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Generate, post, and reconcile payroll journals.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and corporate wallets.
- Reconcile other Balance Sheet accounts.
- Assist with statutory audits.
- Assist in managing accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payments.
- Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling financial information.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Accounting degree in an accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of processing software such as Spreadsheets (Excel), and prior experience with ONVIO (Thomson Reuters) and NetSuite is an advantage.
- SIAP and AFIP/ARCA applications experience.
- Adapt to a fast-paced continuous learning environment and show a willingness to take on additional responsibility where required.
- Ability to work autonomously, coordinate the efforts of others and work well with people at a wide range of levels.
- Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English Level.
