Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Human Resources to to lead and shape Tokka Labs' human capital strategy. This role will be responsible for designing and driving strategic initiatives, ensuring that our people-related processes align with our fast-paced and evolving business needs. As the sole HR leader, this individual will have full ownership of key HR functions, including talent strategy, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning while ensuring that all HR processes are structured to support the firm’s long-term success.
Given our firm’s size, this position requires a hands-on approach, flexibility, and the ability to adjust processes as necessary.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust and dynamic HR strategy that continuously supports business objectives, ensuring the firm remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Enhance existing strategic HR processes such as performance management, manpower planning, and employee on/offboarding, adopting a dynamic and flexible approach to support the firm’s growth phases and business needs.
- Shape a high-performance culture, implementing engagement initiatives that build internal rapport and maintain agility in a dynamic environment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights into employee sentiment, and strategic HR decisions.
- Establish and manage best practices for core HR administrative functions, including payroll processing, benefits coordination, leave management, and work visa applications.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining efficient HR operations.
- Act as a key point of contact for employees and leadership, providing support on HR-related concerns.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, prior experience working in large financial institutions and fast-paced startups preferred.
- Ability to work independently and adapt processes as necessary to fit the evolving needs of a growing firm.
- Strong background in strategic HR, with a focus on talent development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Experience in establishing best practices for core HR functionalities, including but not limited to, leave management, payroll processing, on/offboarding, performance management, and compensation benchmarking.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to partner directly with leadership to drive HR strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both employees and leadership.
