The Workplace Technology Manager is responsible for leading and managing CoinFlip’s end-user technology environment, ensuring a seamless., secure, and productive digital workplace experience. The role oversees the Workplace Technology Support team, and the Workplace Cloud & SaaS team, driving efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement in IT support, device management, and cloud-based workplace services. The Workplace Technology manager also plays a key role in developing IT policies, managing IT assets, enforcing security standards, and optimizing collaboration and SaaS platforms.
Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and oversee the Workplace Technology team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Own the end-user IT experience, optimizing device management, SaaS applications, and IT support processes.
- Define and enforce IT service policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure operational efficiency.
- Partner with Information Security to ensure device security, access management, and compliance across workplace technologies.
- Ensure workplace IT services align with corporate security policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR), and industry best practices.
Team & Service Desk Management
- Manage and mentor the Workplace Technology Support team and the Workplace Cloud team.
- Establish clear escalation paths for SaaS administration, IT support, and workplace technology.
- Set and track Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for incident response and resolution, using data to drive improvements.
- Own and maintain IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, leveraging JIRA Service Management for incident tracking, asset inventory, and user support.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles, SOPs, and end-user documentation to improve self-service.
SaaS & Collaboration Platform Management
- Oversee the management, security, and governance, of SaaS applications, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and user productivity.
- Ensures seamless integration and optimization for enterprise technology and collaboration tools.
- Work closely with the Workplace & Cloud SaaS team to enhance SaaS security, licensing, and automation efforts.
Device & Endpoint Security Oversight
- Ensure secure and compliant device management for Windows, macOS, and mobile endpoints.
- Oversee device provisioning, lifecycle management, and IT asset tracking to improve IT efficiency.
- Enforce encryption, endpoint protection, VPN, and multi-factor authentication policies across all workplace IT services.
Automation & IT Process Optimization
- Work with the Workplace Cloud & SaaS team to streamline onboarding, offboarding, and SaaS administration through automation.
- Drive process automation for IT operations, reducing manual workload and improving response times.
- Continuously improve IT workflows, leveraging data-driven insights and automation tools.
Incident Management & Escalation
- Act as the final escalation point for complex workplace technology issues before engaging external vendors.
- Ensure that major IT incidents are addressed swiftly, coordinating between teams to resolve root causes.
- Provide regular updates to IT leadership on performance, IT support trends, and key technology initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university or equivalent education/ experience in the computer science field.
- 5+ years of IT experience, including 2-3 years managing IT teams.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience leading teams is required
- Excellent knowledge of Windows and MAC operating system as well as Mobile Device Management tools.
- Experience with Networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS).
- Experience with JIRA Service Management Tool.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with all departments and at all levels.
- Ability to work and make key decision with limited daily supervision.

- General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 USD
