We currently employ 200+ people across Europe with our headquarters based in Berlin, Germany, and hubs in Tallinn, Estonia, and London, UK. We would consider hiring remotely for this role. If you do want to move to one of our hubs, we’re happy to support your relocation.
Your mission
As Brokerage Manager, you will play a key role in managing trade processing, risk controls, and regulatory compliance within our brokerage operations. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance trading execution, maintain compliance, and ensure smooth operational workflows.
This role offers you the opportunity to:
- Trade Processing & Monitoring: Oversee trade processing and order management to ensure accurate and timely execution of client trades. Monitor execution quality and ensure adherence to best execution and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Support day-to-day brokerage operations by identifying and mitigating operational and trading risks, including handling mismatches and resolving trade-related incidents.
- Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely compliance with regulatory reporting obligations, including MiFIR transaction reporting, Best Execution reporting, and MAR requirements.
- Mistrade Controlling: Develop and maintain processes to identify and rectify trading errors, including setting up proper documentation and controls.
- OTC Trading: Assist in setting up and supporting OTC trading activities, including process definition and execution coordination with counterparties.
- Subject Matter Expertise for Client Inquiries: Act as a key point of contact for client-related brokerage questions, offering expertise and troubleshooting support.
- Collaboration with Product Teams: Work cross-functionally to support new product launches and ensure operational readiness from a brokerage perspective.
- Brokerage Policies & Procedures: Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal policies and workflows to ensure smooth and compliant brokerage operations.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in brokerage operations, trading, or execution management within a financial institution, fintech, or trading firm.
- Strong understanding of market structure, execution mechanisms, and trade lifecycle management.
- Experience in order handling and execution quality monitoring.
- Knowledge of financial regulations impacting trading and execution, including MiFID II best execution requirements.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, trading platforms, and market data tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
