At Finoa, we are driven by a bold mission: to enable institutions and individuals globally to migrate their capital into the onchain economy. And we are actively engineering the platform that makes it possible.
We believe that great products are built by people who are eager to leave their mark on the world. We are seeking ambitious, hard-working individuals who are ready to innovate in a rapidly changing environment. We offer a collaborative space where your impact is visible and your growth is supported.
If you are ready to put in the work to redefine the global financial system, we want to hear from you.
As our Senior Accountant, you will be a cornerstone of our accounting function. You will take ownership of our German entity accounting and move beyond localized bookkeeping to become the orchestrator of our global financial framework. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this is a career-defining opportunity to grow into the team's technical expert, developing your skills in international accounting (IFRS), group consolidation, and FinTech operations as we scale.
This is more than a bookkeeping role; it's a chance to own, refine, and automate our financial backbone, with a clear path for professional growth.
Own Group Accounting: Manage the end-to-end accounting processes for our German entities, and act as the "control tower" driving the timely delivery of accurate financials from our regional vendors.
Master Group Consolidation: Lead the complex transition of multi-entity data from local GAAPs (HGB, etc.) into a unified group consolidation, ensuring all intercompany transactions are reconciled and eliminated.
Govern Vendor Output: Manage the day-to-day relationships with our external accounting service providers, performing high-level reviews to ensure their outputs meet Finoa’s quality and compliance standards.
Develop International Expertise: Partner with the finance team to establish the accounting foundations for our new entities in the Cayman Islands and Lithuania, learning and managing the transition to multi-entity group consolidation under both HGB and IFRS.
Ensure Compliance: Prepare statutory financial statements and act as a key contact for our external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Be a Proactive Partner: Serve as a go-to person for accounting-related inquiries. You will practice clear and proactive communication with the finance team and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Strong Foundation: Approximately 4-6 years of hands-on accounting experience. You are bilanzsicher (confident in your work) in HGB.
Growth Mindset & International Interest: Experience with or a strong, demonstrated interest in IFRS and international accounting is key. We are looking for someone eager to learn and tackle new challenges. A professional qualification (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter) is a welcome bonus but not a prerequisite.
Language Skills: Full business proficiency in both German and English is essential for this role.
Tech-Forward Mindset: Familiarity with DATEV and modern cloud solutions for SME. You understand how data flows through a modern finance stack and are curious about new tools and technology to automate tasks.
Incredible Reliability: You have a deep sense of ownership and personal responsibility. Your colleagues can count on you to deliver high-quality work on time, every time.
Crystal-Clear Communication: You are an excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex topics simply. In our distributed team, you are proactive in sharing updates and flagging potential issues.
Independent Drive: You are intrinsically motivated and highly organized. You thrive in an autonomous environment where you can manage your own priorities and projects without needing constant supervision.
A competitive salary and benefits package.
A clear growth path and an opportunity to have a significant impact on a fast-growing, well-funded FinTech.
Direct mentorship from the VP of Finance to support your development into a senior finance expert.
Direct collaboration with senior leadership and a high degree of autonomy and trust.
A budget for professional development, learning, and conferences to help you grow with the company.
A modern, hybrid work environment with a distributed team of passionate and talented colleagues.
