The Opportunity
Uphold is looking a Senior Delivery Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the execution and continuous improvement of delivery frameworks across multiple teams and initiatives. You'll play a strategic role in aligning execution with business outcomes, mentoring delivery professionals, and supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders, including the Chief Delivery Officer, to scale our operational capabilities, manage complexity, and drive value delivery across the engineering and product functions.
What You'll Be Doing Primarily
- Work with the Chief Delivery Officer to evangelize and put into operation delivery and project management processes internally.
- Work with the Project Managers, Product Managers, Owners and others to help define the roadmap for any given product or initiative.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.
- Identifying areas of the organisation in need of improvement and helping drive that transformation.
- Championing Uphold vision through leadership, advocacy, and action, as we fight to improve the company in many areas.
- Moving the organisation to clear ´sunset´ delivery dates so that multiple functions can be properly coordinated to ensure effective product launches.
- Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver the projects.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in computer science, design, business or equivalent experience.
- Comfort working in an agile, fast-moving, iterative software development process.
- Be smart, analytical and creative problem solver.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Ability to be highly effective in a remote-first environment.
- Significant experience in leading software teams.
- Excitement to act as a team lead with significant ownership of the group’s efforts.
- Effective communication skills; a positive, team player.
- Fluent written and oral English skills.
- Not be afraid of experimenting with alternative solutions to problems.
