You know the ecosystem’s cast of characters, its major players, and the undercurrents shaping where it’s headed next.
You are a natural connector who thrives engaging with founders, researchers, and thought leaders in deep discussions. You're not just comfortable behind the mic and the camera, you’re at home there. You bring a journalist’s curiosity, a researcher’s rigor, and a storyteller’s spark to every conversation. Your discussions are insightful, approachable, and balanced — maintaining neutrality while driving meaningful dialogue.
What You’ll Do:
As our Podcast Host, you’ll develop, host, and grow one of Blockworks’ crypto-focused podcasts. You’ll shape the show’s tone and direction, identify and interview the industry’s most insightful voices, and serve as both the face and thought leader behind the brand — expanding its reach and impact across crypto circles.
Every day will look a little different, but in general, you will do things like:
- Host and Produce Content: You’ll lead conversations that make complex ideas clear, compelling, and worth sharing. You’ll plan, script, and host at least two episodes per week, and coordinate frequent livestreams.
- Source and Build Relationships with Guests: You’ll identify, book, and build relationships with founders, investors, and researchers shaping your corner of the crypto ecosystem — bringing their insights, stories, and ideas to life for your audience.
- Prepare and Shape Each Episode: You’ll draft outlines, identify timely topics, and weave in Blockworks data, topical news, and original insights to craft engaging and informed conversations.
- Collaborate with Your Show Team: You’ll work closely with your producer, editor, and operations teammates to refine titles, thumbnails, and episode descriptions, and provide clear and timely feedback on edits and social clips.
- Grow the Show: You’ll partner with our Head of Content and distribution team to define and execute a growth strategy — setting KPIs, tracking performance, and driving downloads, engagement, and audience expansion. You’ll support the brand’s social accounts to ensure tone and style align with the show’s voice, and document best practices across the team to help all of our shows thrive.
- Build and Leverage Your Personal Brand: You’ll grow both your own profile and the show’s reach through authentic engagement on platforms like Twitter and Telegram by sharing smart, timely takes and engaging with the conversations that matter.
- Expand Reach and Brand Impact: You’ll lead external promotion efforts including securing big-name guests, landing exclusives, coordinating cross-promos, and pitching the show to conferences, media outlets, and distribution partners. You’ll collaborate across Blockworks to strengthen sponsor relationships and represent the brand at live events, conferences, and listener meetups.
What You’ve Done Before:
You’re a crypto native with a deep understanding of the ecosystem — its narratives, its builders, and its rhythm. You’ve built credibility through hosting, reporting, or producing content in the space and can point to work that shows your ability to engage an audience and drive meaningful discussion. You’ve taken complex technical or financial topics and made them clear, relevant, and entertaining. You have sharp instincts for what makes a conversation worth having and the nuance to turn it into something that sticks with listeners. You’ve built and grown engaged audiences before through podcasts, YouTube, or social media and you’re eager to do it again on a bigger stage.
It’d Be Great If You’ve Done This:
If you’ve demonstrated thought leadership in your area of crypto through research, writing, or public commentary, you’ll stand out right away. Experience with live broadcasting or a background in media, especially on camera, is also a big plus. And if you’ve already built strong relationships across the crypto community, we’d love to hear about them.

This is a full time exempt position with an expected salary of $110,000/year.
