Chainalysis is seeking a Security Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure to join our global security engineering team. We are dedicated to protecting our platform by building and operating robust security services. Our team leverages diverse skills in cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, and regulatory compliance to proactively defend against threats and ensure the resilience of our services.
What you'll do:
- Design and implement security frameworks to safeguard software and infrastructure
- Conduct regular security assessments of Cloud environments, Kubernetes deployments, and core products to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
- Assist in vulnerability management programs, ensuring AWS cloud infrastructure adheres to the highest security standards
- Respond to security tickets professionally and with urgency, including incident triage, investigation, and cross-team collaboration
- Serve as a point-of-contact for internal user security queries, providing guidance regarding policies, tools, and best practices
- Develop, maintain, and improve operational security processes such as ticket management, incident response workflows, and documentation standards
- Monitor security dashboards to identify alerts; document, escalate, and support further investigation and remediation as needed
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls like vulnerability management, endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, and encryption
- Support onboarding and off-boarding processes to ensure appropriate access controls and compliance
- Contribute to developing, reviewing, and communicating SOPs for security operations
- Influence and coach internal teams on security policies and compliance frameworks
We're looking for candidates who have
- Hands on experience with Terraform, ability to write modules and manage IaC.
- All things Kubernetes! Responsible for deployments and more...
- Experience with Cloud providers, AWS/GCP proficiency strongly preferred.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Works with monitoring/observability and comfortable with tooling such as Datadog, Prometheus or other
- Experience with incident management, ticket response using operational tools such as JIRA or Atlassian suite
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively across organizational teams
