Your mission:
As a Technical Product Manager – Core Trading Platforms, you will optimise our trading core services and define their vision, creating a high-performance, scalable and robust platform that powers best-in-class trading experiences. You will refine Bitpanda’s core trading flows, balancing complex trading capabilities with simple, accessible user journeys that enable users of all experience levels to trade confidently. You’ll partner with Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Legal to ensure systems and verification flows meet global and regional regulatory requirements, prioritising ruthlessly to deliver value. You will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including expansion teams, to support key business objectives.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to the definition and delivery of Bitpanda’s product strategy for trading, portfolio, pricing and hedging services, ensuring high-performance and scalability.
- Understand, refine and translate high-level stakeholder requirements such as order execution, routing logic, market data handling and risk controls into clear technical specifications.
- Partner with backend engineering teams to identify the best solutions to the problems you’re solving and document the agreed approaches clearly for all stakeholders.
- Take full ownership of your products across the entire lifecycle, fostering cross-team alignment to drive impact from ideation to post-launch and continuously iterate to deliver short, medium and long term objectives.
- Use data-driven insights to optimise conversion across core trading flows and shape the product roadmap and vision.
Who you are:
- 3+ years in a Technical Product Management role within crypto, fintech, or trading platforms, with hands-on experience scaling backend or infrastructure-heavy products.
- You are curious and driven to understand how systems and features work beneath the surface with particular attention to detail.
- You feel comfortable discussing technical topics, while also being able to summarise concepts in a clear, simple way.
- You take ownership and drive projects end-to-end in a structured way, translating complex technical requirements into user-focused features.
- You are highly collaborative, experienced working with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and external liquidity partners to deliver robust, high-impact trading capabilities.
