Location Overview
Cboe HQislocated inthe historic Old Post Office district, it’s a landmark that blends classic architecture with modern amenities. The building features expansive spaces with high ceilings and large windows, offering an abundance of natural light and panoramic views of the city skyline and the Chicago River.
With its prime location in the heart of downtown, the OPO Building provides easy access to major transportation hubs, including Union Station and multiple CTA lines, making it convenient for commuters. The building is home to a variety of amenities, including restaurants,afitness center, and collaborative workspaces, creating a vibrant and dynamic work environment in one of Chicago's most iconic areas.
Role Overview
The Manager, Inclusion & Belonging will play a key role in driving and executing Cboe’s Inclusion and Belonging (“I&B”) strategy. This position will focus on creating and promoting an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment for all associates, ensuring that everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to contribute to their fullest potential. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating an environment where all employees thrive and will be responsible for developing and implementing I&B programs that positively impact associate engagement, retention, and overall organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with management to develop, implement, and evaluate I&B programs and initiatives that align with the company’s overall people strategy and business goals.
Identify opportunities to embed I&B practices into core HR processes, such as recruitment, performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement.
Partner with HRIS to manage our associate metrics and track the effectiveness of I&B initiatives, using data to inform continuous improvement and ensure the initiatives meet organizational goals.
Spearhead employee engagement programs that promote awareness, education, and active participation in I&B efforts.
Deliver training and development sessions on topics such as inclusive leadership, cultural competence, and allyship.
Create and deliver power point presentations that are compelling and ensure an understanding of data and trends.
Cultivate an environment of belonging through our associate resource groups (ARGs) or affinity groups, including setting annual goals, agendas and budgets.
Partner with HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and other key departments to support the recruitment and retention of talent.
Work closely with your leader and Cboe management to provide guidance on I&B best practices, helping them lead by example in promoting inclusive behaviors and decision-making processes.
Collaborate with the Public Policy team on our annual corporate sustainability report.
Stay up to date with industry’s best practices, trends, and emerging issues related to I&B to ensure the company remains a leader in fostering an inclusive culture.
Evaluate the effectiveness of I&B strategies and adjust them as needed based on feedback, data insights, and evolving organizational needs.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Sociology, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in inclusion roles, with at least 3 years in leadership capacity.
Proficient in creating Power Point decks that enhance both the understanding of data and trends.
Experience bringing a project or program from ideation to execution.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing I&B programs or initiatives in a corporate setting.
Familiarity with current best practices and legal requirements related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Experience working with associate resource groups (ARGs) and managing related events or initiatives.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of best practices, tools, and trends.
Ability to think strategically and drive change while maintaining an understanding of operational details.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Data-driven, with the ability to collect and analyze metrics to assess the success of initiatives.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to lead workshops, training sessions, and group discussions effectively.
High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive topics with empathy and professionalism.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve common goals

Previous experience working in global or multinational organizations, with an understanding of cross-cultural I&B challenges and opportunities.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and I&B reporting tools.

Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $123,250-$152,250. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time. If you live in one of the following areas or if you work in a Cboe office in the following areas, the range may be higher according to the geographic differentials listed below:
US Geographic Differentials:
- 110%: Austin TX, Chicago IL, Denver CO, San Diego CA
- 115%: Los Angeles CA, Seattle WA
- 120%: Boston MA, Washington DC
Within the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
