Your Mission
You’ll build and evolve a high-performance native app used by millions to invest in crypto and traditional assets. You won’t just ship features; you’ll shape how people experience trading in real time, owning everything from architecture decisions to polished UI interactions across the full app lifecycle.
You’ll be part of the Trading Experience team, responsible for the core of Bitpanda’s product: the end-to-end interface where users buy, sell, and manage their investments. From real-time trading flows to advanced features like Take Profit/Stop Loss, Margin Trading, and automated Savings Plans; you’ll craft fast, intuitive, and reliable experiences that make complex financial actions feel effortless.
What you'll do
- Build and ship high-impact iOS features end-to-end, collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless, real-time trading experiences.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code, raising the bar for quality and reliability across the codebase.
- Take full ownership of your domain; debugging issues, optimising performance, and continuously improving the responsiveness and stability of the app.
- Stay ahead of the curve with iOS advancements, bringing in modern tools, frameworks, and best practices to keep the app fast, elegant, and future-proof.
Who you are
- You’re genuinely excited about mobile development and obsessed with turning complex systems into smooth, intuitive user experiences.
- You’re highly proficient in Swift and deeply familiar with iOS development best practices, architecture patterns, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- You have hands-on experience building and scaling production-grade apps, with a strong focus on performance, quality, and maintainability.
- You have a strong eye for UI/UX and care about the details that make an app feel fast, fluid, and delightful.
- You take ownership; pushing ideas forward, improving things proactively, and raising standards beyond what’s asked.
