As a BI Senior Manager, you will be the core leader of the company’s business intelligence team, responsible for formulating and implementing the company’s BI strategy and roadmap. You will lead the team to build and optimize the BI system, integrate data from digital currency trading, payment services, user behavior, risk control, and compliance, and provide accurate, timely, and actionable data insights for the company’s senior management, business departments, and compliance teams. This role requires deep understanding of the crypto and payment industry, strong data analysis capabilities, and excellent team management skills to align BI work with the company’s business development, risk control, and compliance goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. BI Strategy & System Construction
Formulate the company’s long-term and short-term BI strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan, combining the company’s business development goals, risk control requirements, and compliance needs.
Lead the construction, optimization, and iteration of the BI system, including data modeling, data integration, data visualization, and report development, to ensure the system’s stability, efficiency, and scalability.
Establish and improve BI work standards, data quality management systems, and report release mechanisms to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of data and reports.
Track the latest BI technologies and industry trends, introduce advanced BI tools and methods, and promote the digital transformation of the company’s business decision-making.
2. Team Management & Development
Build, manage, and develop the BI team, formulate team OKRs, performance assessment standards, and talent training plans to improve the team’s professional capabilities (data analysis, visualization, modeling, etc.).
Arrange daily work assignments for the team, supervise work progress, solve work difficulties, and create a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Guide team members’ professional growth, organize technical training and skill exchanges, and cultivate a professional BI talent echelon.
Manage team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and motivate team members to achieve work goals.
3. Data Analysis & Insight Provision
Lead the team to conduct in-depth data analysis on core business areas, including digital currency trading volume, user activity, payment transaction data, risk control indicators, and compliance data.
Provide data-driven insights and decision support for senior management, including business growth analysis, user portrait analysis, risk early warning, and compliance monitoring.
Develop and optimize core BI reports and dashboards (such as trading data dashboard, user data dashboard, risk control dashboard, compliance dashboard) to meet the needs of different departments.
Track key business indicators (KPIs), analyze deviations, and put forward targeted improvement suggestions to support business optimization and risk control.
4. Cross-departmental Collaboration & Demand Management
Communicate closely with business departments (trading, payment, operation, marketing), risk control, compliance, and technical departments to understand their data and BI needs.
Coordinate internal resources to promote the implementation of BI projects, ensure that BI products meet business and compliance requirements, and improve work efficiency.
Feedback data problems and optimization suggestions to the data warehouse and R&D teams, promote data quality improvement and system optimization.
Cooperate with the compliance team to ensure that BI data and reports comply with global regulatory requirements (FATF, MiCA, local regulations) and support regulatory audits and inspections.
5. Risk Control & Compliance Support
Lead the team to build data models for risk control and compliance, including abnormal transaction monitoring, user risk rating, and compliance indicator analysis.
Provide real-time data support for the risk control team to help identify and mitigate risks (such as money laundering, fraud, market manipulation).
Assist the compliance team in completing data statistics, report submission, and regulatory compliance work related to BI.
