As the Head of Trade Manager, you will be the core leader of the company’s trading business, responsible for formulating the overall trading strategy and business roadmap, aligning with the company’s development goals. You will oversee all trading operations, including spot trading, derivatives trading (if applicable), liquidity management, and trading system optimization, while strictly controlling trading risks and ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements. This role requires in-depth understanding of digital asset markets, rich trading management experience, excellent leadership, and strong risk control capabilities to drive the growth of trading volume, improve trading efficiency, and enhance the company’s core competitiveness in the digital currency trading market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trading Strategy & Business Planning
Formulate the company’s long-term and short-term trading strategies, including market positioning, product layout (spot, derivatives, etc.), liquidity strategy, and pricing strategy, aligning with the company’s business development goals and market trends.
Develop detailed trading business plans and OKRs, decompose goals to the team and individuals, supervise the implementation progress, and ensure the achievement of key indicators such as trading volume, liquidity, and transaction efficiency.
Monitor global digital asset market trends, policy changes, and competitor dynamics, adjust trading strategies in a timely manner, and seize market opportunities to promote business growth.
Lead the research and development of new trading products and services, promote product iteration and innovation, and meet the diverse needs of users.
2. Trading Operations Management
Oversee the company’s daily trading operations, including order matching, transaction execution, trade settlement, and post-trade reconciliation, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and accurate operation of the trading system.
Manage the company’s trading liquidity, cooperate with liquidity providers, optimize liquidity allocation, and ensure the depth and stability of the trading market to improve user trading experience.
Establish and improve trading operation processes and standards, standardize the work of the trading team, and improve work efficiency and quality.
Coordinate with the technical team to optimize the trading system, improve transaction speed, stability, and security, and support the expansion of trading business.
3. Trading Risk Management
Establish and improve the trading risk management system, identify, assess, and control various trading risks, including market risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, and counterparty risk.
Formulate trading risk control indicators and thresholds, monitor risk indicators in real time, issue risk warnings in a timely manner, and take effective measures to mitigate risks when abnormalities occur.
Lead the trading risk team to conduct regular risk assessments and reviews, summarize risk management experience, and continuously optimize the risk control system.
Ensure that all trading activities comply with the company’s risk control policies and global regulatory requirements, and avoid regulatory and operational risks.
4. Team Management & Development
Build, manage, and develop the entire trading team, formulate team structure, job responsibilities, and performance assessment standards, and improve the team’s overall professional quality and combat effectiveness.
Arrange daily work assignments for the team, supervise work progress, solve work difficulties, and create a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team atmosphere.
Guide team members’ professional growth, organize market research, trading skill training, and risk control training, and cultivate a professional trading talent echelon.
Manage team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, motivate team members to achieve work goals, and retain core talents.
5. Compliance & Regulatory Coordination
Ensure that all trading business activities comply with global regulatory frameworks (FATF, MiCA, local regulations) and industry standards, and cooperate with the compliance team to complete regulatory reporting, audits, and inspections.
Participate in the formulation and improvement of the company’s trading compliance system, promote the implementation of compliance requirements in all trading links, and avoid compliance risks.
Respond to regulatory inquiries and requirements related to trading business, provide relevant materials and explanations, and maintain good communication with regulatory authorities.
6. Cross-departmental Collaboration
Communicate closely with compliance, risk control, technical, product, and operation departments to coordinate resources, promote the integration of trading business with other business links, and ensure the smooth development of the company’s overall business.
Cooperate with the marketing and operation teams to formulate trading promotion plans, carry out user acquisition and activation activities, and drive the growth of trading volume and user scale.
Feedback user needs and trading market information to the product and technical teams, promote product and system optimization, and improve user trading experience.
