If you apply, we'd love you to tell us about the most impressive thing you've ever done in place of a cover letter.
We believe the infrastructure that will form the backbone of the next generation of Ethereum wallets will be built by a very small group of exceptional people. The productivity gap between exceptional and average in engineering can easily be more than an order of magnitude. As is the nature of early-stage startups, one must develop fluency in skills across many domains. In one day, an engineer might work on any one of:
- Infrastructure/cloud engineering
- Backend blockchain script development
- Ethereum node (e.g. geth, nethermind) modifications
- Smart contract development
We want boots-on-the-ground engineers who will be designing, writing, and reviewing code (no managers)
Our team members also:
- Are left to autonomously figure out the solutions to their challenges
- Value clear, frequent communication
- Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
- Feel a great sense of accountability to each other
You might be the wrong fit if:
- You consider yourself very specialized and uncomfortable outside your comfort zone (e.g. only want to code in Rust)
- Writing production-worthy code is something you tend to avoid
