Bitcoin Depot is seeking an Senior Counsel who will report to the General Counsel and manage various in-house legal projects for the company. As the third attorney on the legal team, this position will work cross-functionally with the Bitcoin Depot accounting team, compliance team, human resources and other internal teams. The ideal candidate will contribute both at hands-on and strategic levels. This role is remote. Mountain or Pacific time is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams to recommend and manage support of litigation matters.
- Negotiate contracts and other commercial agreements on behalf of our business. Anticipate problems and ensure all vital commercial legal key terms and language are included in contracts to appropriately mitigate risk.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner by building relationships with, providing counsel to internal partners to accomplish the company's overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage and drive projects through various departments with minimal supervision.
- Experience in managing various stages of litigation or regulatory matters at either the state or federal level, including management of strategy and of outside counsel.
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Experience working with employment matters is a plus.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and with proposed legislation is a plus.
- Interest in learning about Bitcoin or alternative finance.
- 4+ years of experience.
