About the Opportunity ✍️
We are seeking a Country Head for the Netherlands to help drive our business through the next stage of growth. This is a critical role within the company, and will report directly to the VP of Operations.
This individual will represent MoonPay as a requirement to maintain MoonPay’s licenses, but will also be expected to handle day to day operational work to help scale the business internationally.
What you will do…
- Serve as MoonPay’s Country Head for the Netherlands, in addition to upholding various requirements necessary to maintain MoonPay’s licenses
- Prep and attend Board Meetings and meet with financial regulators
- Oversee MoonPay Netherlands’ outsourced services, including intragroup services
- Handle additional responsibilities across operations, payments and crypto initiatives
- Leverage data to make informed, strategic decisions about scaling MoonPay’s international business
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product, engineering, finance compliance, legal and operations teams
What you will need…
- Experience in a role subject to approval by a Dutch regulator (DNB or AFM)
- Experience engaging directly with a regulator
- Familiarity with financial services regulations
