About The Role:
The Data Engineer at Fazz will play a pivotal role in shaping our data infrastructure. This position involves designing, building, and maintaining data warehouses and ETL pipelines that support our analytics, reporting, and operational needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and enable data-driven decisions. The role demands a strong technical background in cloud data platforms (BigQuery ), SQL, Python, and tools like Airflow. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about working with data at scale, collaborating across teams, and driving impactful changes in a fast-growing financial technology company.
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop data warehouse structures to support data analytics and data science requirements.
- Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines to populate data warehouses.
- Work closely with the stakeholders (including Product, Lending, BNPL, Operation, etc.) and with other data team members to to architect, develop, and maintain advanced reporting and data visualization capabilities on large volumes of data. support analytics and leverage data to improve business processes.
- Support Report and Automation Pipeline for BNPL and lending team in regulatory reporting such as AFPI, OJK, PEFINDO, and etc.
- Implementing best practices in data engineering including data integrity, quality, and documentation.
What We Are Looking For:
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Software Engineering.
- Experience in Financial Institution, Lending and/or Payments, and Regulatory Reporting are mandatory.
- Strong SQL query skills and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).
- Hands-on experience with cloud data technologies in GCP or AWS.
- Proficiency in using data warehouse solutions such as Redshift or BigQuery, and BI tools like Metabase or Tableau.
- Experience in writing data pipelines using tools such as Airflow.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
