About the Role
As a Software Engineer Intern on our Trading Connectivity team, you will help develop and maintain backend systems that support our extensive provider network. Working closely with product managers, trading support, and other engineering teams, you will assist in integrating new liquidity providers into the Talos network. This role provides an opportunity to learn about improving platform scalability, reliability, and performance while supporting the integration process from initial requirements gathering to deployment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying backend systems and services, with a focus on trading connectivity.
- Support the integration of new liquidity providers into the Talos network, contributing to the platform’s efficiency and value.
- Collaborate on the integration process from gathering requirements to interfacing with the technical teams of external providers, as well as building, testing, and deploying work to production.
- Contribute to efforts to improve the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of the Talos platform.
- Work with product teams, engineering teams, and support to help develop solutions for the full trade lifecycle, from inception to execution.
- Join an open and collaborative culture as we grow the team.
Qualifications
- Class of 2026 pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field or experience
- Ability to learn how to assess, troubleshoot, and debug integration issues effectively, with guidance from the team.
- Interest in working with backend systems to gain hands-on experience in building reliable and high-performance applications.
- Familiarity with financial technology or interest in crypto and/or traditional finance is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear, effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Local or able to relocate to Cyprus for the summer
