Your role:
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP in various jurisdictions.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reporting according to current regulatory regimes in various jurisdictions in collaboration with local consultants and teams (ex. Basel, CAR, MIFIR, MICA reporting).
- Liaise with auditors in relation to statutory reporting in various jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with the Senior Finance team on the set-up and modification of the transfer pricing model for Nexo Group (preparation of Local files, Master files, and Country-by-country reporting).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS updates, changes, and new standards to ensure the company complies with IFRS guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
- Keep track of reporting requirements and dates in various jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the financial reporting function to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of reports.
- Support the Finance and Accounting teams with various tasks to ensure deadlines and objectives are met on time.
What makes you stand out:
- Big Four audit or accounting experience would be considered strong advantage.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or Economics. ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification would be considered an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation would be considered an advantage.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-starter with attention to detail and accuracy.
