Your mission
Join our tight-knit, early-stage distributed team that thrives on interesting technical challenges and building magical products that improve peoples' lives. As a Visual / Brand Designer at CoinTracker, you’ll have a crucial impact on our brand presence and identity, especially as we prepare for our busiest time of year. Working with cross-functional teams and our marketing external marketing agency, you’ll translate brand guidelines into powerful visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, in-product banners, and more. Your designs will enhance the CoinTracker experience for millions of users and create a cohesive, memorable brand across all our channels.
One year outcomes
- >90% of DeFi transactions across all supported blockchains automatically have the correct category applied
- Design and propose a scalable system of rules to track DeFi positions in CoinTracker’s portfolio solution with coverage of the top dapps for each supported blockchain
What you will do
- Proactively identify the top dapps and smart contracts that users are interacting with and add support for those dapps to automatically categorize transactions in CoinTracker
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize improvements to enhance tax accuracy for various DeFi scenarios
- Design a system of rules to track DeFi (staking, lending, liquidity pools, etc) positions accurately on user portfolios

Role-specific
- Familiarity with 1 other smart contract compatible blockchain (not required, nice to have)
- Problem-solving: Ability to use our current DeFi coverage tools to solve a variety of DeFi use cases. For situations that cannot be solved by current tooling, the candidate should be able to propose specific product improvements that will unlock additional use cases.
- Familiarity with a query language (SQL, postgreSQL, Dune SQL, etc.)
