About The Role:
The role of a Desk Collection is to contact customers with overdue payments, remind them of their obligations, and negotiate repayment plans. They are responsible for ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate records, and minimizing financial risk for the company, all while providing professional customer service
What You Will Do:
- Call, message, and email customers to remind them of overdue payments.
- Discuss repayment plans and resolve any payment issues.
- Track and manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts.
- Update customer information and payment statuses accurately.
- Ensure all collection activities follow company SOPs and legal guidelines.
- Work with finance and customer service to resolve payment disputes.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in collections, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in using phone systems, emails, and basic Excel or CRM software.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to handle objections and negotiate payment solutions.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
