This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy and development of the core product team at Flight Studio. Your role is to lead and ensure the success of the product team by bringing differentiated products and brands to market that align with demand, and create significant business impact for Flight Studio and our suite of talent and creators. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and a hands-on approach to ensure operational excellence, establish product blueprints and methodologies that are scalable across a range of industry verticals and talent propositions. You will be required to collaborate cross functionally across teams to ensure the successful execution of product initiatives that align with both business & talent / creator goals.
Responsibilities:
- Flight Studio Product Strategy Development: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with Flight Studio’s overall objectives which can be personalised to each of our talent’s unique value proposition.
- Product Roadmap Ownership: Responsible for owning the roadmap, managing project deadlines and resourcing initiatives efficiently to meet deadlines and ambitious targets. You will oversee and support the successful execution of product initiatives, from ideation, to launch, to post launch review analysis which will inform when to pivot products or scale.
- Product Methodology Creation: You’ll be building the foundations for our scalable product engine as a key monetisation driver across our slate of talent. This will require you to develop scalable systems for prioritisation of new product development, rationalisation of new and expanded product lines and justification for product decommission or descope.
- Product Performance Accountability: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of products and initiatives. Monitor performance, analyse data, and iterate on strategies to optimise outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Product Operations and Resourcing Plan for Growth: Sourcing of the right partners (i.e.product agency, freelancers, new JVs) + resourcing plan required to effectively scale the product function from the ground up within Flight Studio.
- Product Business Case Development: Establish business cases for the most suitable build paths for products based ( i.e. in house, joint venture, licensing or affiliate) on a rationalisation framework, fostering buy-in and sign off from the senior leadership team.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a lean product team and provide trajectories for team growth and expansion as the product team scales. Provide guidance, support, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Set clear goals and priorities, and empower team members to achieve them.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, marketing, commercial, production (podcast), production (physical), developers & designers (digital) and other teams to drive products from concept to launch. Foster strong relationships and facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Product Quality Control and Delivery Accountability: Final sign off of digital and physical products, in alignment with a product approval process and quality control measures.
Requirements:
- Proven history of launching multiple successful products and brands from the ground up (0-1).
- Experience in growing and scaling product brands, including navigating growth hurdles.
- Strong understanding of the product development process and managing the entire product lifecycle through growth and decline phases.
- Ability to balance multiple competing product priorities and manage both internal and external stakeholders, including talent and creators.
- Expertise in building scalable frameworks for product prioritization tailored to business needs.
- Strong financial acumen, including business forecasting skills and pricing strategy expertise.
- Deep understanding of the eCommerce and product growth landscape.
- Experimentation mindset, with a constant focus on product trends, new innovations, and leveraging opportunities.

- Previous experience working with recommended build partners, such as agencies.
