About the Role
As an ETP Product Development Intern (80-100%, 4-6 months), you will be contributing to the creation of new crypto-based investment products and supporting all stages of the product life cycle, from ideation to post-launch. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to explore a career in one of the most dynamic and innovative areas of investment management. You will be primarily responsible for European ETPs and financial products, and may cover other regions such as the US and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, research, legal and operations managers and a broad variety of teams throughout the firm to assist in the product life cycle.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential product improvements and new opportunities.
- Utilize project management skills to organize and track the progress of product development tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met and decisions are documented.
- Create effective presentations for internal and external use, supporting various product-related initiatives.
- Assist in creating product documentation and materials for internal teams and clients.
- Participate in the product origination process and contribute innovative ideas to existing products and processes.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Science, or recently graduated
- Prior experience with internships or personal projects related to digital assets or finance is a plus
- Passionate about investment products, financial markets and cryptocurrencies and a strong desire to learn and grow in this field
- Excellent problem-solving skills, working diligently and the ability to think critically
- Ability to work independently and deliver detail-oriented, high quality output under agreed-on deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and their Google equivalents, experience or proficiency in Python would be considered a valuable asset
- Fluency in English is a must, proficiency in German is a plus
The role is based in Zurich and you will be expected to work from our Zurich office in a hybrid model Monday - Wednesday. Outstanding interns who demonstrate exceptional performance may be considered for a prolonged internship period or full-time employment, depending on the company’s needs and the intern’s availability.
