Position Summary:
Grayscale is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Vice President, Private Fund Sales to drive sales of our Private Placement and Private Fund products to a diverse range of investors. This role will be responsible for growing Grayscale’s client base, building relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) investors, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), and Family Offices, and effectively positioning our investment products. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of financial contacts, a passion for capital raising, and a deep understanding of private placement investment products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and raise assets into Grayscale’s suite of private placement investment products.
- Establish, maintain, and expand relationships with HNW investors, RIAs, Family Offices, and other eligible investors in partnership with our Market Leaders and Distribution Team.
- Serve as a key representative of Grayscale at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Effectively position and communicate the value of private placement investment products to accredited investors.
- Stay current on developments in the digital currency ecosystem and alternative investment space.
- Proactively analyze key sales metrics and adjust tactics to maximize investor engagement and capital raised.
- Work closely with the Head of Distribution to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product specialists, to create impactful sales resources and client presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior team members to strengthen overall sales effectiveness.
Prior Experience/Requirements:
- 8-15+ years of experience in a proactive, successful sales role within financial services, private placements, or alternative investments.
- Established network of accredited investors, with a proven track record of raising capital from HNW individuals, Family Offices, and RIAs.
- Strong understanding of private placement products, alternative investments, and digital currencies.
- Deep market knowledge of global asset management trends, regulatory considerations, and client segment dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, execute efficiently, and drive organic business growth.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems to track sales efforts.
- Self-starter with a high degree of professionalism, adaptability, and a “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
