What you’ll do
As a smart contract engineer at Openfort, you will be responsible for driving high-level decisions about the smart contract architecture and writing well-documented, efficient, clean, and reusable Solidity code. You'll partner with our team to help make key architectural decisions, iterate on the product roadmap, own product decisions, and architect & build our foundational tech platform.
Your profile
- Proficiency in smart contract development and EVM knowledge
- You have a strong background in building production-ready smart contracts in Solidity (bonus points for Yul, Huff, Fe, or having been part of an audit team)
- You have deep knowledge of the EVM and are aware of security best practices and gas optimization techniques
- You believe in Ethereum and its potential for ambitious applications beyond financial use cases
Passion for software development and improving developer experience
- You are passionate about writing clean software and building - ideally side projects or even a company
- You are passionate about building tools to improve developer experience
- You’re an engineer, NOT a manager
Nice to haves
- Your are familiar with ERC4337, 3074 and upcoming new standards being proposed in the space of wallets.
- Familiar with hacker attack, intrusion detection, event source tracing, log analysis and other technologies.
- Optional but encouraged: Demonstrated achievements in competitive realms such as programming contests (e.g., ACM-ICPC, topcoder) or Capture-the-Flag events (e.g., CSAW, DEFCON).
