About the Role
Stronghold is seeking a Business Operations Senior Associate to help manage and drive the success of our Payments platform. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Business Operations to lead key initiatives that optimize payment processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic growth. You will be at the forefront of managing day-to-day operations, implementing scalable solutions, and collaborating across teams to ensure our Payments Platform delivers exceptional results. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to bridging legacy banking systems with Web3 technologies while tackling complex challenges in the rapidly evolving payments space.
What You'll Do
- Lead and execute high-impact projects within the Payments Platform, ensuring alignment with Stronghold's strategic objectives and delivering measurable results.
- Own daily operations related to payment processing, including ACH payments, real-time payments, and virtual payment networks, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to improve operational performance and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Compliance, and Customer Support, to streamline workflows and deliver a seamless client experience.
- Analyze performance data and develop actionable insights to guide decision-making and address operational challenges.
- Stay ahead of industry regulations and trends to ensure Stronghold’s payment solutions remain competitive and compliant.
What We're Looking For
- MBA from a top-tier business school.
- 5-7 years of experience at a leading management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain), with a focus on operations, strategy, or financial services.
- Proven track record of delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with a history of leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Adaptability and a resourceful approach to problem-solving in a rapidly evolving industry.
This role is based in our San Francisco Office and will be required to come on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday.
