Job Description
Cboe Global Markets is expanding its global retail presence and is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, this role will support Cboe’s proprietary options and futures products, with a dedicated focus on the retail investor audience. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for understanding the derivatives market in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and how our products are utilized by retail investors. This includes producing effective marketing and educational collateral, multi-channel advertising campaigns, and sales support. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and build strong relationships with key retail trading platforms to educate investors about Cboe’s products and derivatives trading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support multi-channel marketing activities, including advertising, email, communications, events, videos, web content, partnerships, and social media.
- Collaborate with key retail broker dealers to develop strategies and work on educational, marketing, and advertising initiatives that enhance awareness and understanding of Cboe’s proprietary products.
- Partner with U.S. and Europe-based teams to tailor global marketing campaigns for regional marketing and promotional activities and collaborate with institutional derivatives marketing on cross-audience product campaigns.
- Coordinate regional webinar and event logistics, collaborating with partner broker dealers and cross-functional teams such as Sales, Brand, Sponsorship, and Media Production.
- Assist with content translation to improve regional marketing support.
- Consult with the Digital Growth team to optimize digital and email marketing processes, increasing efficiencies and enhancing synergies between marketing and sales.
- Partner with external global media agencies to implement multi-channel product campaigns and manage the advertising budget.
- Set and analyze campaign KPIs to optimize messaging and advertising effectively.
- Collaborate with local sales teams to create region-specific product and educational content, ensuring alignment with sales strategies.
- Develop product pages and microsites tailored to regional languages to consistently promote proprietary products.
- Partner with senior leaders to create and enhance marketing collateral for Cboe proprietary products, including websites, videos, print materials, and conference exhibits.
- Assist with project budgeting, management, and reconciliation for events, sponsorships, and campaign management activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
- Minimum of five years relevant work experience, preferably at a retail brokerage firm or investment management firm.
- Fluency in one or more Asia-Pacific languages (Chinese, Japanese, Mandarin and/or Korean)
- Experience running effective multi-channel marketing campaigns for the retail investor audience preferred.
- Partnership marketing experience, particularly with retail broker dealers, a plus.
- Knowledge of the financial markets and investing strategies, specifically futures and options, a plus.
- Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to translate complex subject matter into easily understood marketing and educational materials. Knowledge of derivatives a plus.
- Working knowledge of CRM and e-mail marketing tools a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategy and platforms.
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills.
- Availability for occasional meetings during U.S. and EMEA hours may be necessary.
