What the role involves:
As an innovative and visionary Creative Director, you will lead the creative team for Input Output Group. This role requires a deep understanding of Web3, blockchain, decentralized applications (dApps), and emerging digital experiences. The ideal candidate will blend storytelling, brand strategy, and cutting-edge design to create immersive, engaging, and community-driven experiences that elevate our brand in the Web3 ecosystem.
You will develop and execute compelling creative solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance brand storytelling and engagement. You will be responsible for creative decision-making, advocate for best practices, and stay ahead of industry trends. Your impact will be felt through high-quality, consistent, and engaging creative work that strengthens our brand.
Creative Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a compelling brand and creative strategy that aligns with our mission and resonates with the Web3 community. Establish and maintain a strong, cohesive brand identity, ensuring consistency across all digital and physical touchpoints. Translate complex blockchain and Web3 concepts into visually compelling and accessible brand elements. Manage and mentor an in-house creative team and external agency partners to deliver high-impact work.
Brand & Identity Development
- Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive branding strategy that aligns with the company’s mission, vision, and values. Support the launch of new products with compelling branding. Act as a key contributor to discussions about brand evolution and strategic creative direction.
- Brand Naming: Lead the development of company and product names that are memorable, relevant, and aligned with Web3 culture.
- Visual Identity: Create and maintain a cohesive brand identity, including logos, typography, color palettes, iconography, and other brand elements.
- Brand Voice & Messaging: Define the tone of voice, storytelling approach, and messaging framework to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Brand Guidelines: Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure alignment across internal teams, marketing materials, digital assets, and community engagement.
- Brand Development & Adherence: Uphold and evolve brand identity, ensuring all creative projects maintain consistency with established guidelines while bringing fresh and innovative ideas to strengthen visual storytelling.
Website & Digital Experience Design
- Oversee the design and evolution of the company’s website, ensuring seamless UI/UX and interactive engagement.
- Lead the development of decentralized, Web3-native experiences.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize design for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
Video Production & Storytelling
- Conceptualize and oversee the production of high-quality video content, including brand stories, product explainers, and Web3 education pieces.
- Manage motion graphics, animation, and immersive digital experiences to enhance storytelling across platforms.
- Work with internal and external video production teams to ensure brand consistency and narrative impact.
- Live & Virtual Events: Lead creative efforts for virtual events, AMA sessions, and livestreams that reinforce brand messaging and community engagement.
Marketing & Communications Engagement
- Integrated Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute creative marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
- Design creative campaigns that engage, inspire, and activate the Web3 community, fostering brand loyalty and advocacy.
- Develop content strategies for social media, product announcements, press announcements, events, and interactive experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing and community teams to align creative assets with user acquisition and retention strategies.
People Management & Leadership
- Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of designers, writers, video editors, content creators, and external creative partners.
- Foster Collaboration & Innovation: Create a collaborative, creative, and high-performing environment, ensuring all team members are motivated and aligned with the company’s vision
- Performance Management: Set clear goals, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of team members through training and mentorship.
- Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the operations and project management team to manage the allocation of creative resources and prioritize projects based on business objectives, team capacity, and timelines.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Innovation
- Work closely with product marketing, and engineering teams to integrate creativity into brand storytelling.
- Stay ahead of trends in Web3, blockchain, AI-generated art, and digital culture to push the boundaries of creative innovation.
- Manage and mentor an in-house creative team and external agency partners to deliver high-impact work.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate and present creative ideas, concepts, and processes confidently to peers, stakeholders, and leadership teams.
- Collaborate effectively to mediate creative challenges and arrive at the best outcomes for projects.
Asset Management & Workflow Optimization
- Lead the team to organize and manage creative assets, templates, and project files to ensure efficient workflows and archiving for future use.
- Strategize and streamline processes to enhance productivity and team efficiency.

Requirements
Who you are:
- 10+ years of experience in creative leadership, branding, or design, with a strong portfolio in tech, gaming, or Web3 industries.
- Proven experience in brand strategy, naming, identity design, and creative asset development.
- Strong background in UI/UX design, website development, and interactive digital experiences.
- Expertise in motion graphics, video production, and multimedia storytelling.
- Experience with Web3, DAOs and blockchain-native brands.
- Strong leadership, project management, and team-building skills.
- Passion for innovation and a forward-thinking approach to branding and creative execution.
- Proven experience in a Creative Director or senior creative role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and impactful projects.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of composition, color theory, typography, and storytelling techniques.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-faceted creative projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional time management skills, able to prioritize and manage deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and foster teamwork.
- Familiarity with video production workflows, formats, and optimization for various platforms.
