As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you must be able and confident to lead builds of projects from design to production. You will be open and able to communicate with the necessary teams. Collaboration and innovation are part of your DNA. You always make decisions based on delivering the best user experience (UX) and developer experience (DX).
We are the front line of Web3; a lot depends on our amazing work, so here is a list of duties we expect everyone to respect and live up to.

- You take responsibility for sustaining the code base by flagging tech debt, potential scalability issues, and other ways the code base may improve.
- You are hungry to be a Maintainer of their assigned code repositories, achieved by offering great merge request feedback and being active in reviews.
- You create and implement design plans.
- You keep up to date with industry standards and innovations.
- You can handle the entire software development life cycle, end to end.
- You lead others and have others look to them for guidance.
- You have a high level of code output DAILY.
- You use Gitlab efficiently.
- You push for innovation, and you are happy to present new ideas and debate the best solutions.
Key Qualifications
- 4+ years experience with React as a Frontend developer
- Superior knowledge of the basics: HTML, CSS & JS
- Comfortable using TypeScript as it is used for all our projects
- Strong unit testing skills with RTL, Vite Test, and Jest
- Understanding of Redux / Zustand, RTK, and FE state management in general
- Next JS experience is great but you must not be dependent on it as we only use it for some products
- Excellent understanding of git and best practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience being a Maintainer of large code repos
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A fun person who brings high energy to work
- Passionate about web3
- Interest in blockchain
A plus if you have:
- Used StyledComponents
- Used Storybook
- Used Moralis
- A strong portfolio in gitHub, Codepen, or other
- Contributed to open-source projects
- Worked in a mono repo setup previously
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Passion for giving tech talks and sharing knowledge
- Be confident to make show-and-tell videos for internal or external use
