As our Senior Procurement & Vendor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing high-quality technical products and services that align with our organizational goals. Lead the end-to-end procurement process for critical services and products, from identifying needs and evaluating vendors to negotiating contracts and managing ongoing relationships.
Conduct evaluations and selections of vendors, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards (e.g. DORA) and company policies while building effective working relationships.
Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring that vendors meet compliance expectations and deliver quality services.
Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular assessments with the Business Owner and the Outsourcing Officer to ensure quality and efficiency, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and develop effective sourcing solutions that support business objectives.
Analyze market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements, contributing to the organization's financial goals.
Maintain accurate contract records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards (e.g. DORA) while supporting best practices within the third party management processes.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business (Law), Information Systems, Computer Science & AI, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and vendor management, preferably within the technology or financial services sector.
Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor relationship management, demonstrating the ability to secure favorable terms and drive value.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions that align with organizational goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with a solid understanding of best practices in procurement processes.
In-depth knowledge of the crypto industry, regulatory landscape, and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is an advantage.
