Bitcoin.com is seeking a strategic and communicative Product Manager, Web to take ownership of our website as a core product. With over 75 million wallets created and a global audience, Bitcoin.com is one of the world’s leading crypto content and onboarding platforms.
This role goes beyond coordination — you’ll define and drive the vision, KPIs, and roadmap for the Bitcoin.com website, ensuring it delivers measurable results across user engagement, growth, and performance. You will act as the Site Owner, collaborating closely with engineering, SEO, marketing, and leadership to align the site’s direction with our broader mission of promoting economic freedom through crypto adoption.
Responsibilities & Core Competencies
Website Ownership & Product Strategy
- Own Bitcoin.com as a digital product — defining goals, success metrics, and the roadmap for web initiatives.
- Develop a strategy for how our website can better serve as a content and conversion engine for our ecosystem (wallet, news, partners, education, and more).
- Identify opportunities to improve structure, UX, SEO, and monetization — and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the central connector between Web Engineering, SEO, Marketing, Content, and Business Development teams.
- Ensure consistent communication, transparency, and clarity across departments.
- Translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders — aligning diverse priorities into one unified roadmap.
- Build consensus and foster trust — emphasizing high EQ, diplomacy, and clarity in all interactions.
Execution & Delivery
- Manage project lifecycles from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Create visibility into progress using tools like Jira, Asana, or Notion.
- Maintain documentation and ensure smooth handoffs between teams.
- Support continuous improvement in how we execute and deliver web projects.
Performance & KPI Management
- Define and track key web KPIs — traffic, SEO performance, engagement, conversion, and site health.
- Collaborate with SEO and analytics teams to create dashboards and review progress regularly.
- Use data insights to refine priorities, identify bottlenecks, and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Partner with leadership to ensure KPIs reflect strategic company objectives.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product or web project management, ideally in tech, crypto, or fintech.
- Strong understanding of website architecture, UX principles, CMS management, and SEO fundamentals.
- Proven ability to define KPIs, lead cross-functional teams, and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and emotional intelligence (EQ) — able to unify different viewpoints and maintain alignment.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on attitude — comfortable driving both vision and execution.
- Experience with project management and analytics tools (e.g., Jira, Notion, GA, GSC, Looker Studio).
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with crypto, blockchain, or fintech ecosystems.
- Experience managing content-heavy websites or web platforms with global audiences.
- Understanding of performance metrics (Core Web Vitals, conversion funnels, etc.).
- Background in UX research or CRO (conversion rate optimization).
