We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our international team.
At Bitcoin.com, the Finance team plays a critical role in supporting our global financial operations. This includes managing financial records, preparing reports, overseeing transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis.
As an Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and collaborating cross-functionally with departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Handle full set of accounts including preparing audit schedules and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards and regulatory requirements (eg VAT filings, statutory audits)
- Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation
- Monitor and reconcile Intercompany Transactions
- Support in any ad-hoc projects, initiatives and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 3-5 years of general accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Must manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively
Nice to Have
- Interest or experience in the fintech or blockchain space
- Experience in a multinational or fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with other accounting tools
- Working knowledge of IFRS or international tax regulations
- Experience coordinating with external auditors or tax consultants
- Ability to automate or streamline accounting processes
