Overview
Mesh is looking for a strategic customer leader to drive growth, performance and relationships across our most important enterprise and strategic accounts. You’ll work directly with C-suite executives, VPs, and Directors at leading enterprises, exchanges, wallets, and PSPs to ensure they’re realizing meaningful value from Mesh—and expanding with us over time.
You’ll own the post-sale relationship for our highest-value customers. This includes developing a deep understanding of each customer’s business, identifying and executing growth opportunities, owning commercial outcomes, and serving as their internal advocate. You’ll translate customer needs into product feedback, coordinate cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, and build trusted, long-term relationships.
What You'll Do
- Own relationships with Mesh’s largest and most strategic enterprise accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders
- Drive account growth by delivering against launch goals and identifying expansion opportunities across use cases, products, adoption, and transaction volume
- Lead renewals and expansion negotiations, including pricing, contract terms, and deal structure, in partnership with Sales and CS leadership
- Run weekly or bi-weekly check-ins and monthly and quarterly business reviews, tracking performance, surfacing risks early, and aligning on success metrics
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and CS to resolve complex customer challenges and deliver on commitments
- Translate customer feedback and market insights into actionable input for Product and go-to-market teams
- Build and maintain account success plans that connect customer objectives to Mesh capabilities and outline paths to deeper integration and revenue growth
- Represent the voice of strategic customers internally, balancing customer needs with company priorities
- Travel to meet customers, strengthen relationships, and represent Mesh at key industry event
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
- 8+ years owning enterprise customer relationships in fintech/crypto, with direct responsibility for strategic accounts
- Deep understanding of payment networks, PSP economics, and merchant value chains; hands-on stablecoin or crypto experience a must
- Proven ability to earn trust and influence across complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise organizations
- Demonstrated track record of driving commercial outcomes, including renewals, expansions, and negotiations in high-stakes environments
- Strong strategic judgment, with the ability to translate customer business goals into product adoption and revenue growth
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills; credible, concise, and confident in C-suite conversations
- Founding role builder mentality: self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
- Willingness to travel regularly (25–50%) to be in front of customers, partners, and industry leaders
The annual base salary range for this role is $156,000-$211,600 in San Francisco and New York. The compensation range provided may span multiple career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on factors including a candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. For candidates outside of San Francisco and New York, compensation will be adjusted to reflect the applicable market and location-based pay band. The base salary range listed excludes commission (if applicable), equity, and benefits. The pay range represents the minimum and maximum target for new-hire compensation. Actual compensation may vary and may be higher or lower depending on individual circumstances.

In-Office Expectations
Employees based in our San Francisco, New York, and Bangalore hubs are expected to work from the office at least 40% of the time (approximately two days per week). This expectation may vary slightly depending on role, team, and business needs. Certain roles that require closer cross-functional collaboration or operational support may have additional in-office requirements, which will be discussed during the interview process. Our hybrid approach is designed to balance meaningful in-person collaboration, team building, and real-time decision-making with the flexibility to work remotely. We believe this structure supports strong execution while preserving autonomy and focus time.
