Provable is seeking an ambitious Senior Accountant with a CPA who is eager to take on comprehensive responsibilities in running a business, reporting directly to the VP of Finance.
This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of finance and accounting, including managing firm assets, corporate finance, tax, technical accounting, and data management. The ideal candidate will also be immersed in blockchain technology, learning the nuances of crypto while working on exciting, cutting-edge crypto projects that are integral to the company’s future plans.
This position will provide a dynamic environment where the candidate can grow professionally while contributing to the company's innovation and growth in the blockchain space.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the VP of Finance with financial reporting, budgeting, and treasury management.
- Manage daily financial operations, including cash flow tracking and basic reconciliations of digital and fiat assets.
- Support the development and implementation of financial and accounting systems, processes, and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors and assist with audit preparation and support.
- Help develop and monitor the company’s operating budget and provide relevant reporting.
- Provide financial input on key business decisions, while gaining exposure to strategic financial management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with internal and external reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes for improved efficiency.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA designation preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with blockchain, crypto, or fintech industries is a plus but not required.
