ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a user-focused and technically proficient IT Delivery Productivity Lead to optimise the value of our internal tech stack and ensure our tools empower high-performing teams. Your primary responsibility will be to maximise the use of existing applications, ensure they meet user needs, and provide education and training for effective usage.
This role will work closely with the IT Delivery Lead, focusing on innovation, user-centric improvements, and identifying new tools to enhance our ways of working. You will also provide backup for the IT Delivery Lead, managing system administration tasks when needed.
Success in this role means empowering users to succeed, creating seamless workflows, and ensuring the tech stack enables operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maximise Value of Internal Applications
- Configure and optimise Jira Cloud, GitHub, and Notion to improve workflows, usability, and functionality.
- Ensure tools meet user needs by gathering and prioritising requirements and implementing solutions that align with business goals.
- Manage user accounts and permissions across the tech stack, including Jira, GitHub, and Notion.
- Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and training materials to ensure all teams understand and effectively use tools.
Drive Innovation and Introduce New Tools
- Identify and evaluate new applications to improve ways of working, collaborating with the IT Delivery Lead on implementation.
- Champion AI-driven tools and automation to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
- Manage vendor relationships for select applications, ensuring tools deliver maximum user value.
User Training and Onboarding
- Own the functional training and onboarding process for internal users, ensuring tools are used effectively and aligned with best practices.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to upskill users on Jira, GitHub, Notion, and other key tools.
- Continuously improve training programs based on user feedback and emerging needs.
Support IT Delivery Operations
- Provide first-contact resolution for user issues, ensuring timely and effective problem-solving.
- Deputise for the IT Delivery Lead by managing system administration tasks, including user provisioning and application configuration for Google Workspace, Jira Cloud, and GitHub.
- Troubleshoot cross-platform issues on macOS, Windows, and Linux environments, with MDM experience and scripting as a plus.
Advocate for Internal Users
- Act as the user's voice, gathering feedback and translating needs into actionable solutions.
- Partner with the IT Delivery Lead to align technical and functional strategies, ensuring tools enable high performance.
- Promote collaboration and team alignment to ensure the tech stack supports all teams effectively.
WHAT YOU BRING
Technical/Functional Skills
- 7–10 years of experience in Project/Product management, internal application support, or related fields, with demonstrated success in optimising SaaS tools.
- Expertise in configuring and managing Jira workflows, permissions, and reporting.
- Proficiency in GitHub and Notion, with the ability to customise and improve functionality.
- SaaS administration experience, including Google Workspace, Jira Cloud, and GitHub; ERP knowledge is a plus.
- Awareness of CI/CD practices and interest in leveraging AI to improve support processes.
- Cross-platform troubleshooting skills in macOS, Windows, and Linux environments. MDM experience and scripting knowledge are desirable.
