Job Description:
We are looking for a Video Editor & Content Creator with a passion for gaming and a strong grasp of storytelling to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in video editing software and have hands-on experience with Unity. You will be responsible for creating engaging video content that resonates with the gaming community, particularly in the blockchain and gaming trends space. This role requires someone with a creative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing & Production:
Edit and produce high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software. - Motion Graphics & Visual Effects:
Utilize software like After Effects to integrate visual effects and motion graphics into videos. - Unity Gameplay Integration:
Capture and integrate gameplay footage from Unity, ensuring seamless transitions between gameplay and video narratives. - Storytelling:
Craft engaging and compelling narratives for gaming videos, ensuring the right pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact. - Color Grading & Audio Mixing:
Perform color grading, audio mixing, and sound design to ensure high production value across all content. - Content Creation & Conceptualization:
Collaborate with the team to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute video ideas, as well as design thumbnails and promotional graphics. - Platform-Specific Optimization:
Optimize and tailor video content for various social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) by understanding trends and best practices. (++) - Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Video Editing Proficiency:
Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Familiarity with After Effects for motion graphics is a plus. - Unity Experience:
Ability to record and integrate gameplay footage from Unity into video content. Knowledge of game mechanics and the gaming production process is essential. - Technical Knowledge:
Experience in color grading, audio mixing, and sound design. Knowledge of video formats, compression, and platform-specific optimization. - Social Media Savvy:
Awareness of social media trends and best practices for video content. Ability to tailor content to different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.). - Storytelling & Content Creation:
Strong narrative skills, with experience in creating engaging video content. Ability to conceptualize and execute creative video ideas, along with designing thumbnails and promotional materials. - Creative Problem-Solving:
Resourceful in overcoming challenges, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining high production standards.
