Role at a Glance:
We are seeking an experienced Product Leader to take ownership of our Paystand B2B Payments Network. In this role, you will own the ways businesses collect payments for their accounts receivable. Your responsibilities will include defining the product strategy, identifying and tracking key product metrics, managing the product roadmap, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams to refine product positioning. The ideal candidate has a strong background in FinTech, possesses technical acumen, thrives in a dynamic environment, and excels in communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Paystand B2B Payments product, defining and leading initiatives to drive volume growth, focusing on capturing new payments volume and monetizing existing payments volume.
- Drive cross-functional strategy and execution of a product offering(s), from requirements to delivery, ensuring the offering(s) deliver on time with high quality and in accordance with stated business and technical objectives.
- Identify and develop relationships with key partners in the payments ecosystem to deliver low-cost, high-value solutions for our business customers (and their customers).
- Write requirements and specifications to meet business needs, driving the product development schedule from design to release in an agile environment.
- Define product metrics, objectives, and key results to help guide and measure the success of initiatives.
- Manage the payments product roadmap: Understand and prioritize potential projects from various inputs (user research, business wishlist, etc.) so the team is always working on the most impactful projects.
- Assist in building product roadmap presentations for customers, training materials, and other activities where product marketing may need help with messaging and positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales on product definitions, pricing, and segmentation.
Qualifications:
- You thrive in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
- You have a strong technical understanding of building APIs and experience working directly with engineers and engineering management.
- You possess strong analytical, quantitative, and strategic thinking skills.
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- You excel in cross-collaboration with both internal and external partners.
- You have a deep interest in UI/UX design and a passion for building delightful end-user experiences, working closely with product designers.
- Prior experience with cloud-native stacks and SaaS platforms is a plus.
- You have an understanding of FinTech and blockchain.
