Who You Are:
Galaxy Digital Research is looking for an experienced editor to join our research team and oversee a team of researchers covering the digital assets ecosystem for internal and external clients.
Utilizing on-chain data, market data, internal experimentation, industry relationships, and the insights available through Galaxy’s diversified businesses, Galaxy Digital Research has a unique vantagepoint into digital asset markets from which to provide high quality research to our institutional clients and partners. You will oversee a team and process that generates and disseminates top-tier research products to institutional investors through a multi-channel distribution platform comprised of written reports, audio and visual media, and live interviews and appearances.
This role is in person in our NYC headquarters.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify, drive, and manage a content calendar covering cryptocurrency markets, policy, and major public blockchain networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, and associated ecosystems, in collaboration with the Head of Firmwide Research.
- Edit and iterate Galaxy Research content, working closely with the Head of Firmwide Research and research analysts, to ensure and maintain high editorial standards.
- Manage a team of researchers, providing day-to-day support and mentorship.
- Develop and nurture relationships and partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Serve as a thought leader on various crypto topics and consult with internal and external clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 7 years of professional experience in professional writing, editing, and content production. Specific relevant backgrounds include crypto, financial, or technology journalism, technology or innovation research, financial or market research.
- Strong, existing knowledge of cryptocurrency networks, markets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience, and the concurrent ability to edit and direct other authors to accomplish the same.
- Capability to self-direct and drive projects with minimal supervision, effectively managing time and resources to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes
- Independently drive projects and reports from ideation through formulation to completion and publishing
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the Research team
- Demonstrated capability to oversee a research content production process
