The Crypto Gambling and Sports Betting News Writer will focus exclusively on covering real, timely news at the intersection of cryptocurrency, gambling, and sports betting. This role is centered on genuine reporting, not promotional or list-based affiliate content.
The writer will produce one to three news articles per day, covering developments across crypto-powered betting platforms, major sporting events, high-profile bettors, and cultural moments tied to sports gambling. Coverage will span leagues such as the NFL and NBA, combat sports, esports, and influencer-driven betting activity, with a particular focus on cryptocurrency use cases.
Stories may include notable bets by celebrities and athletes, major wins or losses, platform-related developments, regulatory shifts affecting crypto gambling, and trends involving streamers or public figures who openly wager using digital assets like bitcoin.
The goal of this role is to expand organic search visibility for high-intent keywords related to crypto gambling and bitcoin casinos by publishing credible, news-driven content comparable in tone and approach to mainstream sports outlets such as Barstool Sports — while maintaining journalistic standards.
This position supports the company’s broader revenue strategy by aligning newsroom output with a major business vertical, ensuring coverage reflects where audience interest and affiliate demand already exist, without resorting to low-quality or SEO-driven filler content.
