Anti Capital is seeking a Low-Latency Rust Data Engineer to join our growing team of developers and mentors.
This opening requires a minimum of 4 days weekly in-person in the NYC office with discretionary WFH.
Responsibilities:
- Implement high performance and reliable data collection pipelines
- Implement and maintain existing exchange data integrations
- Architect data pipeline components to maximize performance and minimize data loss
- Architect data pipelines to support data needs of internal and external trading teams
- Architect user-facing historical market data API
- Enhance Anti Capital’s support and integrations for different asset classes
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional development experience C / C++ / Zig / Rust
- Strong Rust proficiency or willingness to learn
- Strong multi-threading and performance-sensitive experience
- Experience with SQL and relational, document, and time-series databases.
- Experience in network protocols including TCP, UDP, WebSockets, REST
- Experience with git version control
- Excellent written and spoken English
Preferred:
- Financial industry knowledge and centralized order book exchanges
- Proven interest in decentralized finance, CEFI, DEFI
- Strong understanding of network protocols and encoding including reliable UDP, FIX, SBE, symmetric stream encryption
