About Immunefi
ABOUT IMMUNEFI
Immunefi is the world’s leading crowdsourced security platform for the digital economy. We protect over $180 billion in onchain assets by connecting the most skilled ethical hackers on the planet with the protocols that need them. Our products — Bug Bounty Programs, Managed Triage, and Audit Competitions — are the de facto security infrastructure for serious blockchain protocols worldwide.
We are the dominant player in Web3 security, and we’re now extending into the broader enterprise market — financial services, fintech, and large regulated businesses — where the security problems are as acute and our capabilities directly applicable. This hire owns our commercial engine and helps open that next chapter.
The Opportunity
This is a rare role for someone who has scaled a marketing function from zero to one at a startup, who understands how to build trust and demand with deeply technical, skeptical audiences, and who is ready to step into a leadership position where they can build something of their own.
You'll architect the "Immunefi Engine": the AI-leveraged systems, category narrative, and product GTM that turn Immunefi's credibility into compounding demand. You'll report to the VP of Delivery, with a dotted line to the CEO on brand narrative and token strategy. You'll set the strategy, build the systems, and execute directly, using AI-powered workflows to compress what would take a large team into what one exceptional person can drive.
We're not looking for someone who will figure it out on the job. We're looking for someone who already knows how to scale marketing from 0 to 1 in a lean, high-ownership environment, who has genuine intuition for marketing to technical buyers, and who uses AI tools and agent networks as a natural extension of how they work.
What You Will Champion
Zero-to-One Marketing Ownership
You'll own the marketing function end-to-end, the way a founder would. That means being comfortable operating without a large budget or team from day one: you are the budget. You'll build the operations, systems, and strategy from the ground up rather than inheriting an existing playbook, and you'll do it with the resourcefulness of someone who has done it before and knows it can be done alone.
Marketing Systems & Infrastructure
Build the AI-powered operating layer that makes one person capable of running what would traditionally require a team. This means designing and deploying agent-based workflows, automation systems, and reporting infrastructure that compound output over time. You're not just a user of AI tools, you're the architect of the systems.
GTM and Product Marketing
Own go-to-market strategy across our core products: Bug Bounty Subscriptions, Managed Triage, and Audit Competitions, as the distinct buying motions they are, plus GTM for emerging products as we launch them. This includes defining ICPs, building messaging architecture, and translating complex technical security value into language that resonates with founders, protocol teams, and enterprise buyers to drive top-of-funnel demand, qualified pipeline, and MQLs for Sales.
Category Narrative & Brand
Own how Immunefi shows up in the market: a consistent identity and differentiated story as the trust layer of Web3 security. High-stakes public brand and voice changes are made in partnership with the CEO; you'll own the day-to-day execution and evolution of the brand within that.
Content, PR, Events & Social
Set the quality bar and build the systems that turn researcher expertise, security events, and product news into authoritative, organic-first content and thought leadership.
Researcher-Community Activation
Own the programs that turn our security-researcher community into a marketing asset: activation, crowdsourcing, and advocacy at the community level (elite researcher relationship management sits with our RM team).
Token Marketing & Ecosystem Activation (from ~3-6 months in)
Once the core engine is running, you'll take on positioning and ecosystem activation for our token narrative, working closely with the CEO. Deep token marketing experience isn't a prerequisite for this role, it's a skill we expect you to build quickly once the fundamentals above are in place, but comfort with Web3 community dynamics (Discord, Telegram, X) is a plus from day one.
Success Profile (Who You Are)
- A Zero-to-One Builder: You have real experience scaling a marketing function from nothing, with no dedicated team or corporate-scale budget behind you. You've operated as the budget and the team, and you're energized by that constraint rather than limited by it.
- Native Intuition for Technical Audiences: You've marketed to developers, engineers, or a technical/security buyer before or you have a comparable technical background yourself and you understand viscerally why proof, credibility, and organic reach outperform paid advertising with this audience.
- A Hands-On Systems Architect: As a hands-on builder of AI-powered marketing systems, you actively design and deploy AI-powered, agent-based workflows and automation pipelines. You're the architect of the system, not just an operator of tools.
- Strong Product Marketing Fundamentals: You've defined ICPs, built messaging architectures, and shipped GTM programs with outsized, leveraged results in fast-moving, technical industries.
- High Agency, Thorough, and Async-Strong: You operate independently, chain your work to measurable business outcomes, and hold yourself accountable to them. We run async-first, and much of our evaluation process reflects that. Your written thinking and takeaway work matter as much as how you present live.
- Resilient & Direct: You flourish in high-stakes environments. You believe in Radical Truth and clarity. You view feedback as a gift that protects the team's time and focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfort with Web3 community platforms and token-based network effects (not required to start, but a plus)
- Experience marketing to a technical, skeptical, or expert buyer where organic proof mattered more than paid promotion
- Background in crypto audits, cybersecurity, blockchain infrastructure, or developer tools marketing or a technical/engineering background that transitioned into marketing
- Established network in the Web3 ecosystem
- Hands-on experience in content programs, PR execution, and event marketing
Operational Requirements
- Fully remote; globally distributed team
- Must maintain 4+ hours of daily overlap with US/EU business hours
Why Join Immunefi
- Ownership: You'll own the roadmap and the results for a function you build from the ground up.
- Purpose: We're on a mission to secure the next trillion dollars onchain. You're the person who makes the world believe it's possible.
- Founding scope: You're not inheriting someone else's playbook. You're writing it, the systems, the narrative, the engine, with no limits on how creative you can be.
- Lean, focused team: Elite team, high standards, zero bureaucracy. The kind of environment where your best work actually ships.
If you are a hands-on marketing leader who has built from zero, who knows how to earn trust with technical, skeptical audiences through proof rather than promotion, and who builds with AI as naturally as you think in campaigns - we want to hear from you.
