We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. Our mission and vision is to make investing as easy as spending money.
We’re based in Berlin but are also open to hiring remotely in Germany or Estonia for this role. If you're currently based elsewhere but would like to move to Germany, we’re happy to support your relocation.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
- Build relationships with our key clients & prospects, from market leading fintechs to high volume traditional players, understand their needs and guide the development of our Brokerage product, especially by supporting the expansion of our asset classes (e.g., into mutual funds, securitised derivatives).
- Support/lead vendor selection processes in close collaboration with our Engineering, Platform, Operations and Finance teams and ensure that we find and integrate best-in class partners.
- Act as a PM/SPM in a dedicated Product Engineering team with support from product leadership. Work closely with the team’s Tech Lead and facilitate team rituals, manage the backlog and refine product input to our dual track agile process
- Collaborate with Upvest’s internal and external stakeholders. Form relationships with our engineering, growth, compliance and legal teams. Start building rapport with key vendors and clients with adequate coaching and support
- Support the definition of the product strategy and roadmap for Upvest’s current or future products
- Establish a good understanding of requirements and future needs of Upvest’s customers and product personas with a research-driven, customer-first, data-informed approach
- Provide input on relevant OKRs and KPIs to align product outcomes with Upvest’s business objectives and make Product success actionable and measurable
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration/Finance or applicable experience
- Work experience with focus on financial services, compliance, fintech and product management
- Ability to communicate confidently with both legal and technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English language
