Upvest is one of the few fintechs in Europe that can provide its B2B clients with the full range of investment opportunities in the areas of principal broking business, proprietary trading, and safe custody business for traditional securities. The company was founded in 2017 by Martin Kassing and currently employs more than 180 people across Europe. The latest €100m fundraising round (Series C) was led by Hedosophia and Sapphire Venture, with continued support from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Motive Ventures, and Notion Capital.
We’re based in Berlin but are also open to hiring remotely in Germany or Estonia for this role. If you're currently based elsewhere but would like to move to Germany, we’re happy to support your relocation.
Your mission:
Enable Europe’s leading Fintechs to deliver flawless investment experiences
- Provide exceptional support to our B2B clients via email, slack and phone.
- Help our clients running their business by supporting them with any operational issues they might encounter.
- Informing clients pro-actively of any and all issues or events related to our service.
- Solve problems with calmness, creativity, and a client-first attitude.
- You are an advocate for the interests of the client and their end-users internally.
Build and deliver a first-class client experience
- Contributing to desk building projects to assist in building out the Client Experience function.
- Working within our SLA’s, identifying constant points for improvement
- Conducting daily admin checks to ensure smooth BAU
- Building relationships with client counterparts to create strong connections between Upvest and its clients.
- Participating in periodic check-ins with clients
Set new standards in collaboration and communication
- You take an active role in setting new standards for client communication, both internally and externally.
- Working cross-functionally with operations, product and engineering teams to resolve client requests.
- Creating and maintaining the Client Experience knowledge and process base.
What you bring
- You are excited about technology and investments and want to build a career in one of the fastest growing Fintechs in Europe.
- You ideally have 1+ years of experience in client-facing roles ( within Fintech, investments, banking or a similar industry.)
- You have demonstrated communication and organisation skills, are able to communicate well with different stakeholder groups, and are familiar with working within SLAs.
- You have a client-first mindset and understand how to solve our clients’ problems pragmatically and efficiently.
- You love solving problems with a self-serve approach and enjoy working closely with clients, subject matter experts, and internal teams.
- You are proactive in coming up with improvements, acting as a sparring partner for CX management, addressing questions and raising issues early.
- You thrive in a setup where you can work autonomously, grow your knowledge of financial markets and have the opportunity to contribute to the building of Upvest’s best-in-class CX function.
- You are a fluent German speaker.
It’s great if you
- Have experience working in the financial industry or any other regulated environment.
- Have a background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or adjacent fields.
- You have previous experience within Zendesk, or a similar CRM.
